Jazz musician Rob Levit was an artist-in-residence for six years at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. It was a great experience for him—you could often hear him playing his guitar in the hallway, something people still tell him they miss. The place has great acoustics, he says, and he ended up writing an entire album while there (2005's "Touch the Spirit").
Listen to him in this video playing with different sounds while at Maryland Hall.
Learn more about Rob's experience at Maryland Hall, and what makes this center for the arts such a beloved local insitution, in the August print issue of Chesapeake TASTE.
